Picture of a panda and its first 120 days of life
An animal sweet and unfortunately endangered: the panda.
From the WWF website:
The giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) is a newly discovered species. Although always known to the Chinese, the giant panda was made known to Westerners until 1869 by French Jesuit naturalist father Armand David (also called it "Bear Father David). The first live giant pandas arrived in the West (United States) only in 1937 ...
The major threats to the survival of giant pandas are the destruction of its habitat and poaching to export the skin. The examination of images taken from satellites showed that the suitable habitat for giant pandas has decreased by 50% over the past 15 years.
More information is available on the WWF website page dedicated to the Panda .
My son has already put a couple of pictures in her Nintendo DS and neither am I resisted the tenderness of these images of a baby panda and his first 120 days of life pictures taken from the site http://www.lifeinthefastlane. AC / where you can see the complete series.
