Adele Adkins, giovanissima cantante londinese appena dicianovenne, cresciuta ascoltando le canzoni di Etta James e di Ella Fitzgerald, ha inciso fino ad oggi tre singoli Hometown Glory, Chasing Pavements e il recente Cold Shoulder , tutti contenuti nel suo album d’esordio intitolato proprio come i suoi anni: 19 .
