PROFESSOR BRAZILIAN invented the WiFi Access Point SOLAR
Professor Marcelo Zuffo, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil has developed a prototype solar-powered WiFi access point, placing the device into a light pole.
The apparatus, which does not require a direct Internet connection or electricity, is being tested but already fully functional. Innovations such as these, which are becoming more common throughout the world, may serve to diminure the enormous differences between rich countries and people in poorer regions can not afford to have easy access to the Internet.
Says Professor scuffle;
"We had the idea of taking the energy that is abundant and cheap, ie the sun, and trying to make .. bit! We have a solar panel, a battery of a motor and a circuit that takes care of energy management: in this way, if there is no sun or rain, we un'automonia two days but our goal is to increase to 10 days fno with plans to miniaturize everything and save money in the end we can imagine this WIFI solar cell or the size of a playing card ... "
